This is my second big bowl project. It has a very smooth surface. It is about 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall. It is glazed with white and dark lavender. I did a base layer in glaze and then I painted dark lavender on top of that and on the edges so that it would drip down the sides. The value and the drip technique of the light glaze created movement and emphasis with the colors. This is by far one of my favorite projects that I have made. It is very symmetrical and circular. I also love how this glaze turned out and it is definitely something that I will try to incorporate into my projects more often.
